Pet Fair Asia: 20 years!
More than ever, pet food is at the center of the market demand, particularly premium food and natural products. Pet Fair Asia will welcome for the first time a pavilion dedicated to New Zealand, where numerous premium brands have emerged in the past few years. International pet food brands are more than ever present in Asia, where pet healthcare and related food safety/traceability are growing arguments for end-users’ decision-making process.
The production of pet food in China and other Asian countries is also on the raise, with an increasing demand for upstream suppliers, ingredients, machinery and packaging solutions. The exhibit section dedicated to these suppliers is exploding in size (+60% in 2017) and is coming with the 6th Petfood Forum China, a must-attend conference taking place the day before the show. It’s the chance for attendees to learn about latest trends and keep in touch with regional partners and clients.
While pet food represents about 35% of the show, there’s far more to see. An entire 12,000sqm hall is gathering all pharmaceutical, veterinary and pet clinics leaders (international & domestic), while other halls focus on cat products, small pets, aquaria, etc. Most of these sections come with dedicated on-site events & conferences, making Pet Fair Asia an all-in-one platform for trade, branding and education.
The organizer expects to welcome 30,000 professionals on trade days and 100,000 consumers during the week-end, and encourage online-pre-registration to better prepare the visit of the show and avoid queuing at the entrance.
