Experts address Chinese pet food market, new regulations
At Petfood Forum China 2018, experts will provide updates on the market, regulations, ingredients and more.
What’s the status of pet food production in China, and how quickly are pet food sales growing, online and offline. Which new pet food regulations did the Chinese government enact as of May 1, 2018? Several experts will cover these and other important topics during Petfood Forum China 2018 on August 21, 2018, at the Kerry Hotel in Pudong, Shanghai.
As of mid-year 2017, the Chinese market had hit US$1.5 billion in pet food sales, spurred by a 40.7 percent increase in online sales from the previous year. During that time, 48 percent of pet food sales in China occurred online.
Participants in Petfood Forum China 2018 will receive updates on those and other data, hear a report on new regulations and learn new research on key ingredients and ingredient claims, plus the latest insights on pet food safety programs. In addition, the conference will provide several networking opportunities with leading industry suppliers and other pet food professionals from China and throughout the world.
Petfood Forum China 2018 will take place in conjunction with Pet Fair Asia 2018, a large and rapidly expanding pet trade show for the Chinese pet market and pet owners. Pet Fair Asia 2018 is scheduled from August 22-26 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, next door to the Kerry Hotel.
