What makes Pet Fair Asia the leading show in APAC
Less than three weeks before the opening of the 18th Pet Fair Asia (Shanghai) – the perfect time for a quick insight into an event that has grown full maturity.
Pet Fair Asia was launched in 1998, focusing on the rapid
development of China domestic pet market and its Asian neighbors, while other
tradeshows were (and still are) supporting the export industry to the west. 18
years later, the initiative proves to be successful. The show comes with unmatched local and regional network, a branding function that is
almost inexistent in other Chinese events, dedicated areas for specific
business purpose (pet food suppliers’ row, veterinary area, etc.) and exclusive
conferences that bring the networking experience to the next level.
Coming to Pet Fair Asia gives professionals access to a dozen of other important markets: Japan, South-Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand and several promising destinations within the region. The same goes, of course, for purchasing and sourcing opportunities. Pet Fair Asia is now the platform where you can find the most important numbers of exhibitors from Asian countries while western brands are covering half of the exhibition space.
For three years in a row, not a single company joining Pet Fair Asia decided to "try their luck" with another tradeshow in China. North-American and European suppliers, for instance, are more and more exhibiting exclusively at this big event – equivalent to Global Pet Expo, larger than Zoomark. All major retail networks are sourcing their next best-seller at the very same show. Level of service, business/time effectiveness, clear organization of the space, attention to intellectual property and organizer reactivity are few of many reasons why both suppliers and overseas buyers trust this event.
The show will come with a final exhibitor count of more than 720 companies from 27 countries. 22,000 Chinese and 3,200 overseas professionals have pre-registered to visit the show as of August 4th. Among them, 76% are Asian and 24% coming from the rest of the world, representing purchasing companies or suppliers interested in exploring China and Asian markets.
